Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- ½ tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Optional: Add 1tsp. of milk for softness
Directions:
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs.
- Blend baking powder, soda, flour and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
- Stir into creamed mixture.
- Add vanilla.
- Roll onto floured board.
- Cut with glass or cookie cutter.
- Bake at approximately 300° until golden brown on ungreased cookie sheet.
